All, For those new to practicing outdoors in the spring semeseter, I have some advice. - Wear layers - it makes it easier to adjust to the temperature based upon your current activity.
- Do not be afraid to overdress - if stepping outside makes you cringe in the slightest bit, you need more layers!
- Do not wear jackets with exposed metal (i.e. zippers, etc).
- If you wear gloves, try to wear something that will still allow you to grab, catch, and pass.
- Wool socks are much warmer than cotton socks.
- Bring water - yes, you will get thristy, the colder air is drier than the warmer air you experienced last semester.
- Take the time to get moving and stay warm once you get to the field.
- Stay positive - if we push through this and achieve our goal, we'll be in Albuquerque in no time!
