Is it true rugby players can be hired for temp. work?

Hello!

I live in Fredericksburg and heard from someone that Mary Wash rugby players are available to hire to work events, such as help support a catering staff. Is this true? Let me know if this is actually a thing or if the person who told me this was wrong. Thanks!

You heard correctly, the team has something they call "Rent-a-rugger". It is a fund raiser they use that is a tax deductible contribution that you give to the school/team in exchange for their work.
