Virginia Rugby Union U23 All-Stars

All,
The list of Virginia Rugby Union U23 All-Stars has been released.

First, I want to thank each of you who spent your time going to the tryouts. The first step to improving the team is made by improving your own game. Whether you made the all-star team or not, I really appreciate your efforts in attending the tryouts.

Second, I would like to point out the number of rookies that made team. This speaks for the team's potential in the years ahead.

Third, we had a few senior players that finally made the all-star team. Thanks for your dedication over the years and for not getting discouraged and quitting.

Last, unfortunately, once again this year we had people who did not try out for the team, but were asked for by name by the coaching staff. Based upon what I have been told, we could have placed up to 3 more all-stars on the team.
