So the bad news is that I have a lower lumbar sprain. :( Which means lots of pain. It also means that until next Tuesday, 2/5, I can only watch. I am on a series of drugs that should speed the healing and lessen the pain, so it is possible that I will only have to be out until Tuesday. We will see. I have to chat with Dr. Sunshine to make sure first. :-/

So today after practise l was feeling kinda dizzy and had blurred vision and a migraine and l had to rush to the ER (thank you molly for everything)and l have being told to take it easy for two weeks. that means no rugby for me for two weeks and l have to get medical clearance to do so. I will still come and watch and take part in the most minimum or no contact drills. I going to miss the fun!

And on that note, I figured I'd post about the fact that I am an incapable human being and cut my finger open while making garlic bread, resulting in 6 stitches and no rugby for 7-10 days. And by "making garlic bread," I mean "saving a retarded baby whale from murderous biker nazis with knives." True story.

oh wow. I'm just going to add to the mess. While I can't top Marissa, I did dislocate one of my fingers and jam the crap out of another. The doctor also has to pop one of my knuckles yesterday to reset everything and it hurt really bad. He gave me some vicoden and I just got back to school today. I SHOULD be able to go this weekend (cause athletic tape works miracles!), I'm just going to keep my fingers splinted and bandaged all week and hope for the best. I love you all and stop hurting yourselves!!!

Okay, so I'll pile it on too. I went to the doctor today and I definitely have the flu. I'm out of class until (theoretically) next Tuesday. As much as I would love to come sit on the sidelines and learn by observing at practice, I just don't think 2 hours of cold is the best idea. However, I hope to be better by the weekend, and while I probs won't play, I'll for sure show up.

If you all didn't get my post under the practice section, I have bronchitis, hay fever, and I HAD a 48 hour flu. So i'm with jess, in that the cold is not so good to come and be supportive, but I will try if it gets warmer!!!

I hate being left out so... I probably sprained my wrist. But it's cool because Bill's good at taping. My hands have always been falling apart so this isn't a new issue.

With a major concussion you should rest 4 weeks, and then see how you are doing. Two concussions does not mean you are out for athletics, it just means you need a long, long break. I know this. Doctors and my brain have had lots of talks.

I just figured I'd go ahead and post. I broke my collarbone, and will be out for 4-6 weeks. I am the saddest girl in America. However, I'll still be at practice/the games, and who knows, maybe it'll only be 4 weeks
