Dearest Fellow Ruggers, It is with great sadness that I report to you that I will not be playing Rugby in the immediate future. Since returning to practice (aka Mon and Wed of this week) I have experienced heart pain during intervals and that agility drill that Bill killed us poor backs with. This has caused the Health Center some... concern. And by that I mean they've ordered me a battery of tests big enough to charge Aliea's DodgeRamCharger. Also, my mother is having a small fit somewhere in Pennsylvania. Basically, heart pain at 21 is a bad sign of badness. So I will not be playing. I have lab work and an EKG to do tomorrow morning, and an echocardiogram after they read the results of the other stuff. But since it is heart pain brought on by excersize, its probably a bad idea to go run. I'll try to make it to practices until I'm better and just hope that they dont ever ever tell me I can't play this year.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to help you out for practices, Kasie/Bill/Kris.
All my love, Briana
P.S. Mercy, I think you still have my socks? And $30 from CIPP as well. Figured I'd mention it before I forgot again

WE LOVE YOU BRI!!! ps getting the EKG, echo, etc isn't as awful as a procedure as it sounds, cause until I figured out what they were I would get all stressed out before I got them done. don't stress about them, the words are scarier than the procedure but mostly, we love you

I am really sorry to hear that Bri. But I am sure your tests will all turn out fine, and I agree with Steph. I've had the tests done before and they really aren't that horrible. (One of the is just like ultra sound on your chest and the other is these super sticky circle things that are a pain to get off) Again though I really really hope that everything turns out find and we can have our kick ass back back on the field soon! looooove haime and the rest of the mary wash ruggers

Thanks guys/grandmother! I appreciate all your support.
Im sorry I skipped VCU today, but my stress test didnt find anything (plus i could only run for 13 minutes, which is unbelievably sad) and the new blood tests have thus far come back normal and the ECG seems normal and the MW police are being mean about extending my parking pass and after a bit I just wanted to be home. So I am sorry that I missed it, hope you found an acceptable replacement touch judge!

Bri, Bummer to hear that today was just not your day. We missed you out there. The team played well, winning 43-0. Laura and Leslie were very happy to be back on the field.
I hope you do not mind, but since you were not there, I ate your share of cookies that Paula's dad left for you!
Have a good break. See you soon.
-Kris
